What can you use instead of using fix+ on eyeshadow brush?

i watch a lot of makeup tutorials on youtube and i always see people spraying some of MAC's Fix+ on their brushes before putting it in the eyeshadow and it makes the colors more vibrant. since i dont have that, is their anything else i could use?What can you use instead of using fix+ on eyeshadow brush?
