I'm looking into buying an eyeshadow brush.


Would make 239 be a good choice for eyeshadow and

239 is great for packing on the eyeshadow. Another great MAC brush is the 222. It is great for blending, especially in the crease.Eyeshadow brush? recomendations? mac?
Don't buy Mac brushes! Contrary to popular belief, they're not all that at all! If you're willing to pay for Mac brushes, you're better off getting Studio Gear brushes. The prices are about the same (SG is a bit more expensive for some brushes), but with SG you get a lifetime guarantee on your brushes and the application will be much better. The brushes are softer because they only take the very first cut of the fur for the bristles. Mac brushes have bristles that are take from further down, so you'll occasionally getting those bristles that poke you...not good!





You can find SG brushes at ulta, so definitely look into that.
MAC has a promo going that is on July 18 at Nordstrom and you can choose from a makeup kit or 5 of their brushes you can either get the advanced set or the basic set...( I pre-ordered both) but it is a good affordable way to get some MAC Brushes and if you go online you can pre-order now for them

yes its a good choice. Other must haves are the 217, 242 and 213. I own all 4

Yes the MAC 239 is great and my eyeshadow comes out nice, but i recently received some Lancome brushes as a gift and those also work really well. Good Luck
