Mineral Eyeshadow? Whats the difference?

Does it benefit your eyes? Because I have this strange red spot on either side of my outer eyes (it looks like a small area of irrited skin). The weird thing is I only put Almay eyeshadow on it. So I was thinking of using a mineral eyeshadow. What do you think about mineral eyeshadow?

The brands I was thinking about was: Physicians Formula or Neutrogena

P.S. What color should I use for green eyes and skin that varies between olive and light olive? I heard green and purple, but I wanted to know what other colors make them popMineral Eyeshadow? Whats the difference?
yes. any make-up made with all natural minerals is always better for your skin.

as far as the irritation, you just may have Extremely sensitive skin. i would try a different brand such as bare essentials bare minerals eyeshadow.

i have green eyes as well:) try putting blue as a base color on your lids then purple above the blue closer to your eyebrow..on the outside and inside corners of your eyes put a short light green line.{{be sure to outline your eyes with a black eyeliner pencil before and then reapply after the applications of eye shadow.}} i get so many compliments with that look! your eyes are sure to pop:)Mineral Eyeshadow? Whats the difference?
Don't use physicians formula or neutrogena, as they both have parabens in the ingredients which are very bad for you. Go with a pure mineral formula, usually they come in individual plastic tubs in the form of loose powder. The only ingredients should be micas and oxides. And purple complements both green and brown eyes beautifully. But for a more subdued look, browns are nice. If you want to be dramatic, a nice peacock blue will stand out.
