I haven't used it, but I think it's matte. Their glimmers and glimpses have shimmer. If you want shimmer, you might want to try the glimpse in City Lights or the glimmer in Queen Phyllis. Chenille is an eyeshadow. The glimmers or shimmers... will state that in the name. Taken from the Chenille product description:
