How do I make my bare minerals eyeshadow look the best?

I have been using bare minerals as my make-up for awhile now, including many of their eyeshadows. I was just wondering how to use the eyeshadow to make it look prominent and beautiful but not overdone?How do I make my bare minerals eyeshadow look the best?
To make the mineral eyeshadow stick to your lid and give the best color i would put a primer on your lid first then apply the shadow. Most places that sell make up have a eyelid primer. You could also apply foundation on your lid or concealer i'm sure it would work just as well. I would apply the mineral eyeshadow by patting it on the lid with a makeup brush.
