Matte eyeshadow to shimmer eyeshadow?

I was looking at the Coastal Scents 88 palettes and I was thinking about getting the matte one. Now the question I have is - can you make matte eye shadows shimmery? I just want to know if I have that option or not or if I buy that palette then I am stuck with all matte.

I have the 88 palette, the original one. At first i was thinking of getting the shimmer ones, but i just decided that id stick to the original one because i heard that the shimmer one is actually really shimmery %26amp; the color payoff is not that good because its really very shimmery. So,i decided to get the matte one.





%26amp; I know for a fact that in using matte colors, just one swipe of it %26amp; you're good to go. you can go ahead %26amp; just have 1 color on your lid, whereas for shimmer ones, you need to have another color to match it. %26amp; matte gives your eyes more depth.





%26amp; im actually glad that i stick to that one, because just like what i keep on hearing its very pigmented %26amp; it's not entirely matte. It's more of a matte %26amp; satin, some colors have a hint of satin on them, like a mild shimmer,so in a way, it's not exactly such a dull palette.





Just like what the other answerer said, by putting glitters on them,you can make it shimmery. Just make sure that you use the tiny glitters %26amp; i think there are some glitters available in the store. Just mix a little of it on your matte ones.





If you want a mixture of shimmer %26amp; matte shadows, why not try the 56pc blush %26amp; eyeshadow palette.

the only way to get matte to be shimmer is to add a glitter shadow over top so if its the shimmer effect you want just buy the shimmer,cuz if you buy the matte you will end up spending more money to make it shimmer
